2 teams beat all odds and are advancing to the championship match tomorrow. They are teams Final Ownage Elite and Surrey Generation. Both semi-finals matchups went on to round 3 after a tied second game with teams GBGH and Syzergy respectively. 3 RP cards were given out today to viewers in the IRC channel after they learned about Child’s Play Charity and answered questions on the forums. Shoutcastings were provided by PhantomL0rd Lautemortis, Pr0lly, Silverdirge, l3ird, Nhat Nguyen, BaronCast, and ButButButILY.  Expect them to return in the finals matches which start at 3:30 PM EST today, and the 3rd place matches begin at 2:00 PM EST. Today, 2 teams emerged victorious after 6 intense games involving the teams GBGH, Syzergy, U2Q, and Para Gone.  All live matches had phenomenal commentating from our guest shoutcasters pr0lly, Laudemortis, Nhat Nguyen, BaronCast, and our own l3ird.  Teams GBGH and Syzergy are placed 1st and 2nd, respectively, and they are moving on to the semi-finals tomorrow night. In just a few hours, we have raised around $200 for Child’s Play Charity, and the peak concurrent viewer for both streams reached 600. Two RP cards were given out to viewers in the IRC chat, and we have 6 more, as well as a Riot Singed skin, to give out in the next two days!  The first game starts at 2PM EST tomorrow with shoutcasting from Silverdirge and PhantomL0rd for Match A, and Lautemortis and Pr0lly for Match B. The semi-finals starts at 8:30PM EST.

WHAT: 
We are hosting a tournament for Child’s Play, a charity organization that ”seeks to improve the lives of children in hospitals around the world through the kindness and generosity of the video game industry and the power of play.”  By holding this tournament we are hoping to raise awareness to this cause and possibly raise some money for them as well.

Throughout the tournament we’ll be giving some prizes away to the viewers at random and playing games with the viewers between and after tournament games. Some Rioters will be participating in these games as well as some familiar faces from the League of Legends community. Keep reading for the details.

In just 3 months, 10WinStreak has raised $4,030.14 for Child’s Play Charity thanks to your dedication and contribution! Let’s keep the momentum going and keep this movement alive. Our second round of fundraiser has just started, as you will notice an updated ChipIn widget on our site with the goal of $5000 by June 1, 2012. Thanks for sending in the email. Do note that the new site is still under development, and we need to test out its existing functionalities. You can click on the Community menu (top-right) and register an account, change your profile, apply to stream, etc. There’s also a Forum (under Community menu) where I want you guys to post feedback.
